Our data protection guidelines

Work performed by OMØ takes place in accordance with current legislation on data protection. In the EU / EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies from May 2018. In accordance with current data protection legislation, OMØ or the companies in the Ragn-Sells Group that are controllers are responsible for the processing of your personal data in accordance with the , listed below.

What types of personal information do we collect?

Personal data refers to information that can be directly or indirectly linked to you as an individual. Examples of such information are your name, address, email address, telephone number and social security number. Processing of personal data refers to all operations performed on personal data, such as collection, recording and storage. Personal data may only be processed for specific and explicit purposes and will not be sold to third parties.

OMØ processes personal information that you have given us for the purpose of managing inquiries and any contracts and to provide information and service in connection with this, e.g. Inquiries about services, price inquiries or subscriptions to our newsletters. Your personal data may also be used for marketing and follow-up as well as for sales and product development for the purpose of improving our products and services. Security of personal data

OMØ will ensure a high level of security for your personal data and has for this purpose implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unintentional or illegal destruction or loss, alteration, unauthorized access.

Customer register

Several of our group companies have access to our shared customer register. The purpose of the register is to manage our customer relationships in the best possible way and to coordinate the services and advice that the companies in the group offer. Our business registers contain information about each customer, e.g. Company name, address, information about the customer's contact persons as well as information about which group company the corporate customer is a customer for and which services and products it has a contract for. For individuals, we store the contact information necessary to provide and collect payment for a purchased service.

Your data protection rights

In accordance with applicable personal data legislation, you have the right to request access to the personal data that is processed about you:

  • to have inaccurate personal information corrected
  • to request that OMØ ceases to process or delete your personal data
  • to withdraw permission for certain types of treatment (where consent has been obtained)
  • to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted
  • to exercise your right to data portability
  • protest against the processing of your personal data

In some cases, we may not be able to fulfill a request, such as A request for deletion or limitation if we have a legal obligation to store the information or the need to protect our legal interests. We may request additional information from you if this is necessary to verify that the request comes from you and not from another person attempting to access or gain control of your personal data. If you believe that your personal data is being processed in violation of applicable law, you can send a complaint directly to us or to the Swedish Data Protection Authority.

We use cookies to monitor how visitors use our website and to identify repeat visitors. How long do we keep the information?

We delete your personal information when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it is stored, provided that Ragn-Sells does not have to store the information to fulfill a legal obligation or a public regulation, decision, request or guideline. With regard to information for invoicing and payment purposes, we store e.g. Information as source documents or for the purpose of defending our interests for up to ten years after the data was created or as long as a conflict may exist. We store personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
